We are a coalition of nonprofits, neighbors on the 100 block of Golden Gate Avenue, believers in the power of community and human connection to make positive change.
Golden Gate Greenway Community Standards
The Coalition formally meets monthly and each neighbor is in frequent contact with the others most days. Through these regular meetings, we have established consensus points around what behavior we do and do not believe are healthy to encourage on the Greenway. Meet the Team
Brooke Ray (BR) Demko
BR is a creative urban planning, land use, and real estate development consultant based in San Francisco. Bringing 20 years of experience in public placemaking, public-private partnerships, community participatory design, and complex multi-stakeholder alignment, BR focuses on collaboratively shaping healthy, resilient, equitable and delightful cities. In her spare time you can find her raising 3 young girls, e-biking or jogging SF, and leading the Friends of Slow Sanchez, a community group in Noe Valley.

Lily Chandrasekher
Lily is a San Francisco-based community organizer with experience leading civic, climate, and neighborhood improvement initiatives. Her work has included organizing community events, coordinating volunteers and stakeholders, and facilitating engagement between residents, nonprofits, and government agencies. She brings a background in urban planning, community-based research, and public engagement, with a focus on creating projects that strengthen neighborhood connections and increase community participation.
